Goals

Democracy Accelerator develops and examines democratic innovations, and shares information about democratic innovations from all over the world. Democratic innovations are initiatives, which aim to increase civic participation, transparency and inclusiveness for a more equal society. Democracy Accelerator is a hub for citizens, practitioners, scholars and civic activists to develop democratic innovations, share information and learn.

Background

Democracy Accelerator is a part of Tackling Biases and Bubbles in Participation (BIBU) research project. The project is a collaborative effort of multiple universities in Finland and in other countries. The project is funded by the Strategic Research Council at the Academy of Finland.
